The Dresser finally finished with its matching Shabby Chic chair!
1 in 110 children have autism.
I’m one of them and it would be an understatement to say that it can make my life difficult at times. I want people to be more aware of autism and what it is exactly so people like me have a better chance in life.

My little ‘Shabby Chic’ bedroom chair……just waiting to have a ‘Napkin Decoupage’ rose inlaid and a final seal of varnish……oh and a ‘shabby’ cushion with a matching heart-shaped ‘hangy’!!
My latest project!
I picked up this old dresser in a charity shop for £60…….the idea is, I transform it into something beautiful that will proudly take its place in my bedroom….a long shot, I know……..only time will tell.
So far it has been cleaned, sanded and stained. The shelves are being left in a ‘Mellow Pine’ and Beeswaxed; hence the paper covering to protect them (I hope!!)…I then stupidly applied a coat of primer without sealing the staining in!!!
….repair of bodge up to come!!!
